Spring Break...fun times!

It's spring break and we have been trying to do something fun each day...doing pretty good so far! Saturday we went to Oak Mountain State Park to the petting zoo. Monday we had Julie and Emerson over for a playdate. Today we went to the McWane Center to play and meet The Backyardigans. Tomorrow the girls are getting their hair cut and then I am taking them back to Oak Mountain to take a pony ride, although they don't know it yet...can't wait to surprise them! Thursday we are going to mom's to have lunch and taking Sutton, Taylor, Peyton and Madi Claire to a movie, and Friday Sharon and Carson are coming over for a playdate. I have also promised a trip to the Galleria to ride the carousel at some point so that will probably have to be over the weekend sometime.

Petting Zoo

After the petting zoo we got a snack and I looked back to say something to Taylor and this is what I saw. She couldn't figure out how to hold her fries and her drink at the same time so she used her feet for her drink! I think she's been watching a little too much Curious George.

One of the baby goats...he was sound asleep with his head hanging off the edge until we woke him up.

The girls thought this horse was huge!

This goose/duck...whatever it is followed us around quacking/honking at us the whole time and the girls thought he was hilarious.

Our favorite part of the petting zoo. Fancy is the mom and her two babies are only 2 weeks old. They were so sweet and were not much bigger than a puppy. We even saw a lady walking around carrying one like a dog...they are adorable. Fancy looooves Taylor and follows her around each time we go to the petting zoo.

Random things

Taylor somehow managed to get RED icing absolutely everywhere within 30 seconds of getting this cupcake!

Tangled with Peyton and Madi Claire

Mom and I took all of the girls to see the movie Tangled a couple of weeks ago. It was really cute and there was this huge photo spot inside that I just couldn't resist. Don't they all look so cute! S&T really love hanging out with Peyton and Madi Claire and are thoroughly entertained by them.

Chick-Fil-A cow

We accidentally ran smack dab into the cow in Chick-Fil-A the other day and the girls were thrilled! He's lots taller than I thought he would be too. I whipped the phone out and snapped a quick picture.

The circus

Silly faces!

We went to the circus a few weeks ago and the girls loved it! They had a great time and we did too except that I coughed the entire show due to some smoke from some fireworks. We even left a little early because I just couldn't stop coughing. I added it all up and for the four of us to go to the circus was a total of $150...so ridiculous! Tickets, a $20 toy each (the cheapest thing they offered) a drink for each of us, parking....and that was it. It's crazy! We won't be going each year but we will definitely take them again because they really enjoyed it.

Bud's Best Cookies tour

We went to Bud's Best Cookies with Kelley and Samantha a few weeks ago and took the tour. You get to ride on a little train through the facility and learn how everything is made. It was cute and we got Vanilla Wafers hot out of the oven so that made it even better! The last picture is of a cute little kitty that likes to hang out at our house sometimes. Taylor has fallen completely in love with him and named him Dego....don't ask me where that name came from.

These are all of the cute things the girls made for Valentine's Day at school....so darn cute!

Lots of kiddos! These are the 3&4 year olds

Our tables were precious! The kids made placemats, the things on the back of the chair are full of things they made and we had muffins, fruit and juice. It was really fun!

Today was Muffins for Mom at MDO and we had such a great time! I am so upset though because the moment I started filming the program my camera said "Memory full"...are you kidding me??? Ugh. Anyway, it was absolutely precious, the girls sang their little hearts out and I am so upset I don't have it on film to show. I do however have a few pictures but they are not great either. I don't know if my camera was on the wrong setting or what but they are all very blurry. Just not a good picture/video day over all. Taylor and Sutton are on the far right on the front row in hot pink shirts.

Catching Up

I know, I know it has been FOREVER since I have blogged. We have had a very busy summer and blogging just took a backseat to everything else! I am going to post a lot of random pictures and a description of each to try and catch up. I will do another entry for their b'day later on.

We finally got the girls big girl beds. It took a long time for them to come in and Clint put them together today. I think they are just precious and the girls seem to love them. I hope all goes well tonight and neither of them fall out of bed because I didn't put rails on the sides. We do have rails but I thought I'd see how they will do without them first.

Just being sassy
This is the beginning of the pictures from their haircut this week. Obviously these pictures are kind of backwards because of how I uploaded them so this is the finished product first. I think their hair is so cute!

Samantha, Taylor and Sutton before their ballet class. The girls are taking ballet again this fall and they still love it! Samantha is in their class this time and I think she is enjoying it as well.

The girls w/ Sam in front of a water fountain at The Summit. We had lunch at Chuy's and it was delicious! I highly recommend going if you have not tried it yet.

Even a princess has to sleep some time.

Sutton had just told me she was not tired at all about 5 minutes before I took this picture.

Taylor sunning herself while we were playing in the sprinkler in the driveway. She did this with no prompting whatsoever!

Sutton loves to help wash any dishes that are in the sink. She got down off of her little stool after this picture and I thought she had gone back into the den to watch TV with Taylor. I peeked in the den a minute later and didn't see her so I walked into my bedroom and met her coming out of my bathroom with the TOILET BRUSH in her hand! I was appalled!! I asked her what in the world she was doing and she said, "Mommy, I need a bigger brush to wash dishes". Thank the good lord above I caught her before she put that nasty toilet brush in my sink. I would have died!!!

This is what a blue cupcake from Publix will do to your tongue. These were 4th of July cupcakes and what a mess they were! I thought I would never get all the blue off of Taylor's mouth and actually some of it just had to wear off. Funny thing is for the next 3 days the girls both had bright blue poop! They thought it was hilarious. I wonder if Publix knows that their frosting does this? I suppose their whole insides were dyed blue.

Nana gave them a special something for Halloween

The girls love, love, love going to Charming Charlie. They try everything on that they can get their little hands on and have a blast while we are in there.
